Spicy Mango & Turmeric Margaritas

These fruit - Mango Margaritas can spice things up a bit with a delicious turmeric simple syrup and a sprinkling of Tajin chili seasoning, remember that you can choose and replace the frozen Mango with your favorite fresh frozen fruit. These Margaritas can also be frozen and taken to-go on picnics. Tajin (Brand Name) is now a popular spice here in the USA. For a cultural note, chili seasoning similar to Tajin has been used in Mexico for generations, people sprinkle fresh fruits and vegetables with a similar blend made of Pequin or (Piquin) pepper, squeeze of fresh lime and salt. Ingredients: Mango Margaritas 2 cups frozen mango or fruit or your choice 1/2 cup tequila 1/2 cup fresh lime juic

Ancho Chile Flourless Chocolate Cake

Makes 1-9 Inch Cake The richness of this cake and the decadent blend of Chocolate & Spice will Rock your Mothers World This Mothers day ! Ingredients: 4 Oz. (1 stick) unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing the cups 7 Oz. Bittersweet chocolate (60 to 62% cocoa) 1 ½ Oz. (1/2 of 1 tablet) Mexican chocolate, “Chocolate de Tablilla” ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 table spoon of Ancho chile powder 2 tablespoons Kalhua 4 large eggs ¾ cup Mexican crema, sour cream. 1 ½ tablespoons superfine sugar Directions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
